Growing up, the summer was a time when my brother and I would spend most days with our cousins. Throughout the years we all became very close. This summer, my cousin Tommy and his fiancé, Nicole, had asked me to help design their wedding invitations. I couldn't have been more excited to help them prepare for their special day.

I had met with them to discus design ideas and themes for their wedding. Since the wedding is on November 8th, 2014, they decided to go with a classic fall wedding style. (My absolute favorite!) In order to appropriately mix rustic fall and classic wedding styles, we introduced muted gold and rusty red metallic paper as trim to the cream colored invitations. This was a great way to tie in her bridal party dresses and center piece colors. Using a modernized script, with a bold slab serif typeface, gave the invites a good balance of modern/classic design.

I am so happy I was able to be apart of Tommy and Nicole's big day, I definitely can not wait till November 8th!
