About

Direct yet conceptual.

Data-driven designer.

Kristie Lee Fenning was born and raised in a quaint beach town on Long Island, NY, where her passion for art and design began to flourish. She went on to study Graphic Design at the prestigious Fashion Institute in New York City, where she developed a keen interest in branding, signage, wayfinding, as well as digital design.

During her junior year, Kristie interned at Piscatello Design Centre under the tutelage of her professor Rocco Piscatello, gaining invaluable experience in swiss-minimal design. After graduation, she joined Russell Design, an affiliate of the renowned architectural firm Perkins Eastman, where she spent three years designing signage and wayfinding systems, and brand guidelines for universities, hospitals, museums, parks, and cities.

Despite her success as an environmental and interior designer, Kristie yearned for a new challenge, which led her to ASCAP, the largest and oldest performing rights organization in the US. As head of design, she spearheaded the company's rebrand and oversaw the build-out and launch of all digital products, promotional materials, and internal communications. She also applied her environmental and interior design expertise to create custom awards, unique branding, stage set designs, event set designs, and a redesigned NY office interior.

In 2017, Kristie was offered a position as Sr. Creative & Design Strategist at Verizon, where she assisted in designing the new Verizon Express store’s layout, functionality, digital experience, employee uniforms, and interior materials. She grew the in-store brand guidelines and worked on several flagship store art installations.

While at Verizon, Kristie also started an experiential design start-up called Envizzo. She built Envizzo into a successful business on the side, which ultimately received seed funding in 2018, enabling her to make the jump to full-time self-employment and hire a team. As Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, she oversaw all interior design projects, brand initiatives, and digital products.
